Serendipity Experience 73 : Create a Christmas Advent Calendar
8:59 PMThis year I decided to create an Advent calendar with a countdown activity list to keep us on track ( and also to encourage us to have some fun along the way!). I used a mixture of handmade and bought decorations to symbolize each of the activities we plan to do each day.

Hi Simone, thanks for dropping by and I'm glad you enjoyed my tour around London...however, I think you win...with that glorious view of those Jacarandas!! Nothing says summer like a Jacaranda in full flower...even if you think it's not much of a summer so far...(you should experience the non-summer here)...it makes me homesick seeing those photos. We have a beautiful one in our front garden in Melbourne which we planted 17 years ago. It took 4 or 5 years to see the first flower, but it came along and by now will be covered. Also I'm getting a little bit of a complex about not making my own advent calendar...your's look great! Robx
ReplyDeleteWow, what a wonderful post-full of fun inspiration and great ideas. Thanks so very much for sharing your calendar and for linking it up to my Advent link up. I am going to add a few of your ideas to our advent list!
ReplyDeleteBest wishes,
Natasha.
Sounds like heaven simone- alas my countdown this year, as you know, will be broken up with a trip through Dubai back *down under* and yes i'm hoping we leave cold here for heaven down there!!
