Serendipity Experience 43: Hunt in a heatwave!
9:15 PMWhilst parts of the world are in the midst of severe winter weather conditions, in Australia we have been inundated with floods, cyclones and heatwave conditions. Here in Sydney we are onto our seventh consecutive day of unrelenting heatwave, with temperatures soaring above 40 degrees. It has been difficult to summon the strength to do any activity, but here regardless is my Scavenger Hunt Sunday, heatwave hunt!!!The prompts this week were 1. Quote 2. Water 3. Activity 4. Window 5. Page 25 of a magazine.
1.Quote: As Chinese New Year celebrations have been in full swing this week, thought it appropriate that my quote should come from a fortune cookie - I can never resist breaking them open!
2. Water: One of the few positive things about this heat is the way the sun plays upon the water tips!
4. Activity: About the only activity we can summons ourselves to do this week is a trip to the beach!
5.Magazine ( Page 25). In true "Serendipity" spirit it was most appropriate that the first magazine that I pick up and turn to page twenty five should contain as it's heading "Here comes the Sun"! Enough!!no more sun.... Please!
Feel free to send some of your cool breezes my way!!!!!!!

You have the sun, we have winter and the rain ;-)
ReplyDeleteI would happily trade your sun and warmth for the rain and cold we've had here the past few days. Beautiful pictures - they make me want summer to come all the more.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful images, Simone! I've been griping about our snow and cold but I wouldn't want your 40 degree temps!! That's just too hot. Maybe if I send you some cool breezes and you send me some warm breezes, we can all have some nice weather! Have a great week ... and stay cool!
ReplyDeleteLet's switch weather. I'll send you some cold and you send some warmth. Great shots. :)
