I live in a contemporary home, which my friends jokingly call "The White House" as the colours and tones are almost entirely white. So when my parents and in laws decided to downsize their homes and pass on their collection of old books to me, I wondered what I would do with them as they didn't exactly fit our decor!

I love my MacBook Air and have even succumbed to using a kindle, but nothing will replace a lovely old book in my heart or home.

I love the covers of old books, you have some real treasures here. My eldest, a bibliophile, is now custodian of her Grandparents' centenary edition collection of Dickens, making the books now over 100 years old. They have many older books too yet to find a home, but I hope my eldest will have her own home by then.....
