The "Serendipity Experience" 6 : Vampire Diaries Halloween Party

11:31 PM

We celebrated Halloween with a "Vampire Diaries" Theme this year, as it is one of my daughter's favourite series. There were many new challenges for me as I had never made any of the dishes before.  Whilst many of the ideas were sourced from the Queen of Halloween Martha Stewart. I did find Not Quite Nigella very handy for instructions on making the "Scary mummy Hot dogs".

Whilst our Mummy Cupcakes and Graveyard Mousse was not quite up to Martha's exacting standards they were certainly very quick and easy to make and very yummy! The biggest hits of the day were certainly the Devilled Brain and the Witches Fingers!!!

Our Witches Fingers

They look far too lifelike to eat.

My son decided to add the drunk skeleton as his
contribution to the table setting!

We thought the A& B Positive Drink Labels from

The Oreo Dirt Graveyard Mousse was the first
to be eaten!

I hate to think how much food colouring is in our
Devilled Brain.

These cute Mummy Cupcakes were truly yummy!

Of course despite all our cooking and eating we still had to head out for more Trick or Treating and Eating!!! Linking with sorted with style

  1. Oh these are all so wonderful, the dead mens fingers are my favourite - wow you must have been cooking for hours but it all looks absolutely fantastic! I am hosting a challenge today for another blog so please please join in, it's not a competition, just an interpretation of a word prompt.
