The "Serendipity Experience" 5: Halloween Decorating

8:30 PM

Today's challenge was a breeze! Anyone who knows me well will vouch for the fact that I rise to the occasion when it comes to a celebration, and Halloween is no exception. Ever since visiting America several years ago our family has always held a traditional Halloween party ( Despite the relative reluctance of Australia to get behind the tradition). This year my fourteen year old daughter is the one hosting the party and so today I have started creating the decorations  for her "Ghoulish Night In". I created the party lollie bags of  Twisted Treats and Rotten Sweets using a Martha Stewart template. Which were a big hit at our party last year.We decided to stick to a traditional black and orange theme and each room is slowly filling with spider webs, pumpkins and skeletons. The children really enjoy hosting a party with their friends and trick or treating in the neighbourhood, although the highlight appears to be spending weeks deciding on the costumes. It is a lovely tradition which has created many fond memories for us all and hopefully this year will be no exception!
